Playing Hardball
Trabasco entered the gym. He placed his bowling ball on the foul line and began to flail away at it with one of his golf clubs. He did this religiously, everyday, rain or shine, for 3 hours. After three months, he was disappointed that he had not improved his free throw shooting, his chip shot, or his bowling game. “I don’t understand. I’ve worked so hard!” Hard work, merely for the sake of working hard, will only make You tired. Practice does not make perfect. Proper practice leads toward improvement.
