A Shakespearean Sonnet for Bobbie & Nat

If You could see Your sweet self through my eyes

Your confidence would waver nevermore

You’d be in for one hell of a surprise

And laugh out loud at every doubt of yore

You’d see perfection, beauty, and delight

You’d see the person that I most hold dear

You’d fall in Love, feel higher than a kite

You’d see there’s nothing in this world to fear

You’d find out what fun and freedom mean

It’s better than You ever would have guessed

Your spirit all asparkle, fresh, and clean

Would shine a light of hope for all the rest

Assess Yourself, among the keepers dwell

Just read the story that my peepers tell
