And The Winner Is …

Three friends chose acting as their profession. They sat in the pub, excitedly discussing their plans.

Petula said, “The first thing I’m going to do is work up my acceptance speech for when I win the Academy Award—I also plan to win a Tony and an Emmy. It will be funny and touching. I will honor the little people who helped me on my journey to the top. Then I’ll say to Mrs. Croaker, my high school guidance counselor—she said I should consider a career in business! Right. Like I’m going to go to college for six years! Duh! I’m going to look right into the camera and tell Mrs. Croaker what an idiot she is.”

Watson said, “The first thing I’m going to do is to find a top-notch money manager. I’m not going to squander my money. I will spend it wisely, too. I’ll start a charity that will help do good stuff or something like that. The best part will be driving my brand new BFD Vainglorious convertible to the high school reunion. Betty Bipper will wish she’d been a lot nicer to me. That’ll be great.”

Kathy said, “The first thing I’m going to do is take some acting lessons.”
